Terms of Service – CatKey
Article 1 – Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Entrepreneur / Seller: The natural or legal person offering products and/or services remotely to consumers;
- Consumer: The natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside their trade, business, craft, or profession and enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur;
- Distance Contract: An agreement concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer under an organized distance sales scheme for products and/or services, using exclusively one or more means of distance communication up to and including the time the agreement is concluded;
- Means of Distance Communication: Any means that can be used to conclude a contract without the consumer and the entrepreneur being present in the same place at the same time;
- Withdrawal Period: The period within which the consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal;
- Right of Withdrawal: The option for the consumer to renounce the distance contract within the withdrawal period;
- Day: Calendar day;
- Continuing Performance Transaction: A distance contract relating to a series of products and/or services, where the obligation to deliver and/or purchase is spread over time;
- Durable Medium: Any tool that allows the consumer or entrepreneur to store information addressed personally to them in a way that allows future reference and unchanged reproduction of the stored information.

Article 3 – Applicability
- These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer made by the entrepreneur and to every distance contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer.
- Prior to the conclusion of the distance contract, the text of these terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer. If this is not reasonably possible, it will be indicated before the distance contract is concluded that the terms and conditions can be inspected at the entrepreneur’s premises and that they will be sent free of charge upon request as soon as possible.
- If specific product or service conditions also apply in addition to these terms, the consumer may always rely on the applicable provision that is most favorable to them in the event of conflicting terms.
Article 4 – The Offer
- If an offer has a limited validity period or is made subject to conditions, this will be explicitly stated in the offer.
- The offer contains a full and accurate description of the products and/or digital services offered. Obvious mistakes or typographical errors in the offer are not binding on the entrepreneur.
- Every offer contains clear information so that the consumer understands their rights and obligations related to accepting the offer.
Article 5 – The Contract
- The contract becomes effective at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and complies with the stipulated conditions.
- If the consumer accepts the offer electronically, the entrepreneur will immediately confirm receipt of the acceptance electronically.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal and Digital Goods Exclusion
In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive regulations regarding digital content: CatKey (cat-key.com) explicitly excludes the right of withdrawal/refund once the delivery of digital content (such as game activation keys, software licenses, or digital codes) has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
Article 7 – Intellectual Property and DMCA / Takedown Policy
CatKey respects the intellectual property rights of third parties and expects our users and customers to do the same. If a copyright holder believes that content on our website infringes upon their copyrights, they may submit a formal takedown notice to info@cat-key.com.
The notification must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the authorized copyright owner;
- Identification and description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- The exact URL or specific location on our website where the material is located;
- Contact information of the complaining party (name, email address, phone number);
- A statement made in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and under penalty of perjury.
Upon receiving a valid and complete notification, CatKey LTD will promptly investigate and remove the infringing material without undue delay.
Article 8 – Brand Disclaimer and Independence
- CatKey (cat-key.com) is an independent reseller and is in no way affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the brands, publishers, developers, or hardware manufacturers of the products offered on this platform.
- All product names, logos, trademarks, and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners. The use of these names, trademarks, and brands on CatKey is solely for the purpose of identifying and describing the products offered and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.
Article 9 – License Terms and Appropriate Use
- The use of licenses and digital keys purchased from CatKey must strictly comply with the terms, conditions, and end-user license agreements (EULA) established by the respective software vendor, publisher, or platform provider.
- Licenses intended exclusively for educational, student, or personal purposes must not be used for commercial activities. If a license ceases to function due to misuse, account termination, or violation of third-party platform terms by the customer, the buyer assumes full responsibility. CatKey does not actively monitor the end-use of sold licenses.
Article 10 – Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
- No Liability After Delivery: CatKey is not liable for any losses, damages, bans, suspensions, or complications arising from the customer’s use, redemption, or management of the keys, software, or digital accounts provided. Responsibility for correct use lies entirely with the buyer.
- Disclaimer of Warranties (“As Is”): To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all products are sold on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- Limitation of Liability: In no event shall CatKey LTD, its directors, or its affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits or loss of data). In any event, our total aggregate liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
- Customer’s Own Risk: Utilizing digital keys, platform activations, and software is done solely at the customer’s risk. CatKey does not provide ongoing technical support, file repairs, or free replacements caused by user error or third-party platform policy changes.
Article 11 – Payments and Delivery
- Payments must be processed through the secure payment methods listed on the website checkout.
- Delivery of digital products is made immediately or shortly after successful payment verification, unless explicitly agreed or stated otherwise on the product page.
Article 12 – Complaints and Dispute Resolution
- Complaints regarding the performance of the contract or issues with orders must be submitted promptly, with a full and clear description of the issue, via email to info@cat-key.com.
- CatKey strives to review and provide a substantive reply to inquiries and complaints within 14 calendar days of receipt.
- In compliance with EU regulations, European consumers can also submit complaints to the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
Article 13 – Governing Law and Final Provisions
- All agreements, terms, and disputes arising out of or related to the services of CatKey shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria and applicable European Union consumer regulations.
- Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mutual consultation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bulgaria.
- Additional provisions or modifications to these Terms of Service must not be to the detriment of the consumer and must be recorded in writing.
